Sanitation

HUVC0099 Sanitation

Sanitation refers to public health conditions related to clean drinking water and treatment and disposal of human excreta and sewage. Preventing human contact with feces is part of sanitation and that is what DRAO focuses on.

Our sanitation is linked to transmission of diarrhoeal diseases such as cholera and dysentery, as well as typhoid, intestinal worm infections and polio. We work hard to prevent the spread of disease and improve environmental conditions and health.
